What is an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR)?
Fixed electrical wiring deteriorates with time, meaning that you need to regularly test your entire electrical distribution system to ensure it’s full safety and compliance, not only to stay within current regulations, but to keep you safe. An EICR is an inspection on the condition of an existing electrical installation, to identify (in order of priority) any deficiencies against the national safety standard for electrical installations.

Emergency Lighting Testing
All commercial and industrial buildings must be fitted with an Emergency Lighting System to ensure safe evacuation in the case of an emergency. It is vital that these systems are properly maintained as it is a statutory and insurance requirement. We can carry out your emergency lighting tests at times that suit you and your business to avoid any disruption to the workplace.
When Should I Have My Testing Carried Out…?
Monthly Tests – To check all luminaires for signs of damage or disrepair. Briefly test all emergency lights to ensure that they operate in the event of mains electricity supply failure.
Annually Tests – A full system inspection and duration test of the emergency lights. Compliance with BS 5266 should be considered and produced in the emergency lighting certification report. Any faults should be rectified.
